VTG Hand Embroidered Gingham Nursery Rhyme Baby Crib Quilt Hand Quilted Blocks

Description

Quilt made up of 12 11-in. hand-embroidered blocks, each depicting a different nursery rhyme, assembled with green and white gingham sashing and border.  Blocks are hand-quilted.
Dimensions:  60 in. tall x 44 in. wide
Condition:  Pre-owned vintage item.  There are a few rips and/or holes, and noticeable pilling in the gingham sashing and border.  There is also some yellowing to the white quilt blocks that is typical of vintage linens that have been stored.  The quilt was not washed after completion, so the stamped design ink has bled or transferred in spots.  Cleaning will be left to buyer's discretion and method. Stitching is in good overall condition.  Please see photos for more details.
***Because of the location of the rip, it would be easy to attach a second border in a coordinating fabric or cut the existing border down and re-finish.***
